Eligibility

  • The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years and over. Employees of the Promoter or the Benefactor, Members of the Strete Community Pub Limited (SCPL ) management committee and members of the SCPL prize draw team are not eligible to enter.

Entry Method

  • To enter, participants can purchase prize draw entries via this Crowdfunder campaign. Entrants may enter as many times as they like.
  • Free entry is also available by post. See the prize draw page for the free entry postal address. Further details about the free entry route rules are below. However if you do this, our community pub will not benefit.

Dates

  • The prize draw opens on 14th February 2025 13:00 and closes on 28th March 2025 at 22:00. Entries received outside this period will not be counted.

Prize Details

  • The prize is £1000 and is non-exchangeable, non-transferable.
  • There is 1 prize available.

Winner Selection

  • Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries Using AI software to pick a random entry from the entrants list.
  • The draw will take place on 29th March at 19:00 in the pub, and the winner will be notified within 24 hours of the draw taking place. 
  • The winner must claim their prize by responding to an email, sent to the email address given at the time of entry, within 14 days of being notified. Failure to claim the prize in time will result in the draw being voided and for SCPL to retain the prize.
  • The winner will be announced publicly via the Crowdfunder project page within 14 days of the close date. Further details about publicity are below.

Personal Data

  • Any personal data collected for the purpose of this prize draw will be used for administering the draw and contacting the winner(s). In addition SCPL will contact entrants to confirm if they will be willing to subscribe to SCPL email marketing.
  • The data will be handled in accordance with UK data protection legislation and will not be shared with third parties without the entrant’s consent.

Publicity

  • By entering, winners agree to allow the promoter and/or benefactor to use their name and image for publicity purposes, unless they request anonymity at the time of claiming the prize.

  • The promoter reserves the right to amend or cancel the prize draw if circumstances beyond their control make this unavoidable. Any changes will be communicated on the Crowdfunder project page.
  • Crowdfunder is not the promoter of this prize draw and is not liable for the content or operation of this prize draw.
  • Free entry to the prize draw is available by post, and full details on how to enter for free are clearly displayed on the Crowdfunder project page.
  • To enter by post, entrants must send their full name, contact details including phone number, email address, and the name of the prize draw on a postcard or in an envelope with correctly paid postage.
  • Entries must be sent via post and will not be accepted if delivered by hand.
  • Entries with insufficient or incorrect postage will be void.
  • Only one entry is permitted per household and per envelope or postcard. Multiple entries within a single envelope will be disqualified.
  • Free postal entries will be given an equal chance of winning as paid entries.
